(1) Per divorciar-se, les natives americanes solien col·locar-se en rotllana i, fent quatre voltes agafant-se les mans, cantaven aquesta cançó popular: així restaven lliures per sempre. Tot plegat era, com es veu, bastant més senzill comparat amb els temps que corren. Clar que en aquell moment el món no era minimal ni asèptic, ni l'hivern era perpetu. Clar que aleshores ni existien la burocràcia, ni la zombie walk, ni els algoritmes ni el post-rock.

Y aquí una seleccción de algunas de las canciones que más me gustaron de los discos mencionados. No de todos (Carmen Sandiego y Roll The Dice no están en Grooveshark) pero si de todo el resto. Es apenas una pequeña muestra para ver si alguno se interesa.

Apuntes de otoño (y parte del verano)

 

1) Después de 25 años de juicios, prejuicios, caras feas, comentarios inadecuados y malos ratos a costa "de", puedo decir que la experiencia de vivir esos momentos apersonales y libres de angustia gracias "a", están dentro de lo mejor de este año.

2) Adventureland es una película adolescente tan honesta como inspiradora. Hace tiempo que no sentía tanto aprecio (sin sentirme necesariamente conmovido) por un director, un guión y sus personajes. 

3) Teen Dream (Sub Pop, 2010) de Beach House y Clinging To A Scheme (Labrador, 2010) de The Radio Dept. tienen todo el año por delante para que la gente los escuche y se den cuenta de lo increíbles que son.

4) Antes de que sigan pasando los días, más vale prestar atención a ese inmenso EP de La Reina Morsa llamado Fiesta Pequeña (Cazador, 2009). Y este año hay que prestarle atención a los Jacobino, que prometen lanzar (y ya han lanzado) discos tan imprescindibles como divertidos.

5) Todo lo anterior sería mucho mejor si las cosas fueran como en Octubre del 2009.
